When a Layer contains a large number of records rather than displaying each pin individually for clarity the records can be displayed instead as a Heat map.
Each Layer can be configured to display its records as a Heat map and each Layer’s Heat map can be configured individually. The "Radius" option is used to determine how large each pins impact is on the Heat map. The "Opacity" option allows the user to select how visible the Layer's Heat map will be displayed on the map. The final "Gradients" option allows the user to apply a predefined style to the Heat map.
If the user wishes to show only the Heat map the Layer’s pins can be hidden by deselecting the “Marker Visible” option.
