Mapsimise supports the use of KML files to import Polygons, Polylines and Markers. As KML is an open standard the files can be generated or downloaded without charge from multiple vendors around the internet.
A KML file can contain multiple objects of a mixture of types and can be uploaded from the KML menu.
All uploaded files will be visible to all the users in an Organisation.
Once imported the objects can be selected (in the object browser) and then converted to a filter, either via the right click option on the map or with the Create Filter option from the object browser.
When an object is converted it will be added to the map as a locked filter.
